This interview gives a candid, enlightening view of the harmony between Christians and Muslims living in the same community, and what it’s like to live with the threat of terrorism in Mindanao, the Philippines. It was recorded during a bumpy van ride on a dirt road in the jungle.
A woman from Zamboanga, the Philippines, (name withheld for her safety) explains:
-what it is like to grow up and live in a mixed religious community;
-how terrorist attacks impact the region;
-and how locals deal with and understand the danger they live with.
The interviewer is Paul Pearce, Zamboanga documentary executive producer and director of international programs at Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.
